LLPs (Limited Liability Partnerships) are available for professional service providers in New York. The structure creates a distinct legal entity that's separate from its partners, therefore the owner’s personal assets are protected from exposure while doing business in New York.

Formation of a New York LLP involves registering your LLPwith the New York Department of Education, Office of the Professions and the New York Department of State. If you are an Attorney, the process is slightly different and involves your Appellate Division, but we assist with that as well.
